Since 1962, the Candle Tea has been First Moravian’s Christmas gift to the Greensboro community. Join us this December for live music in the Sanctuary, refreshments in the Tavern, Moravian craft demonstrations (star making, beeswax candle pouring, pottery throwing, and more), the Putz, and an opportunity to purchase your favorite holiday goodies––including chicken pies, lighted Advent stars, and Moravian baked goods such as sugarcake, ginger cookies, stollen, and apple dumplings.
Our 2025 Candle Tea was held Friday, December 5th (2:00-8:00pm) and Saturday, December 6th (10:00am-1:00pm). Thank you for helping make this year’s event a success!
Limited merchandise remains available for purchase in our online store. Orders placed online will be available for pick-up in our church office through December 23rd. Pick-up hours are Monday-Friday, 9:30am-12:30pm.
